I am very pleased with the care I received from Mr Longstaff and everyone at the Spire Hospital. Having been in a great deal of pain due to arthritis, and unable to walk very far because I couldn't straighten my leg. Mr Longstaff gave me a full knee replacement which in effect has given me a new lease of life. From the very first consultation Mr Longstaff explained everything, listened to my concerns and answered my questions. Throughout it all the whole experience and the care I received was second to none.

HE HAS EXPLAINED THE PROCEDURE TO ME CLEARLY AND I HAVE EVERY CONFIDENCE IN HIS CAPABILITIES. HE HAS GIVEN ME A NEW LEASE OF LIFE AND I CAN NOW WALK WITHOUT PAIN IN MY LEFT HIP AND LEG. LOOKING FORWARD TO GETTING RID OF PAIN IN MY RIGHT HIP AS WELL AND EXPERIENCING A BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE.

After a really badly broken leg on holiday in France, Mr Longstaff operated on my ankle when I was repatriated to the UK He was extremely caring, he listened to me and he offered excellent advice. I am so grateful for the care and attention I received from Mr Longstaff and the staff at University Hospital Durham were excellent too.

From first speaking with Mr Longstaff I felt safe and at ease he explained everything to me that I understood the process of how I would be having things done if I asked anything I was answered so I understood I can’t thank him and his team enough for there help and dedication to myself for my total recovery.T W Carr.
